| | Retailer Platform: Your co-op's primary purpose and emphasis shall be to provide the highest quality products, at the lowest possible cost, delivered to it's Members in the most timely and efficient manner possible.
No Policy shall be implemented which serves to undermine equality of Members, or contradicts their ownership benefits.
Your co-op will operate "open" electronic services designed for ease of integration with any standard Point of Sale and accounting systems in use by the members. Basic catalog and product information will be provided at no cost to the Member. No "programs" will be implemented without publication of the electronic specifications needed by individual Members.
Your co-op will develop open "separate" lines of communication between: 1. The Board of Directors and their Owner/Members 2. The Wholesale Distribution Company and their customers, the Retailers
Your co-op will deliver products to it's Members on a "cost plus" basis. No programs or procedures will be implemented that mask or obscure the true delivered cost to the Member. Freight costs for all RSC purchases will be calculated and quoted to each Member as a per cent of purchases.
Your co-op Board of Directors will be elected in the most representative method possible. This method will be submitted to the full membership for approval. Extensions in "term" of any Board Member must also be approved by the full membership.
